Alright guys, I'm gonna break down what I think could be the most highly leveraged thing that you could possibly do in your life. This has everything to do with your life, everything to do with intentional living, and I think will make you a better investor. Obviously, I'm not in my studio. This is like past 10pm in the Florida Keys. Last night I'm here, and I was just thinking a lot, and this is gonna sound weird, but I was thinking a lot about dying my funeral, being the main speaker at my funeral, and actually doing a video obituary and a video message when I pass away.
This is nothing new, like we've shared this with our clients at our workshop. We encourage people to do this, but I was actually thinking, I was like, the video funeral, whatever we want to call it, the video obituary, literally is the highest impact thing that you can be doing in your life. And let me explain. I'll say this, it's one of the greatest things that I can give to the world. It's one of the greatest things that I can give to the world if I can get people, like 100 people, 100 people, 1000 people, a million people, to literally be the main speaker at their funeral. Do you know how crazy that would be? You know how crazy that would be if you could be the main speaker at your funeral.
I'm saying like this, what if on an annual basis you got out of a camera, like what I'm doing here, and you were literally like, okay, I'm dead. Like obviously I passed away, and this was the latest obituary, and these are the things that I care about. I want to just say I love my family. These were some of the things that are most dear to my life. If you're here, you're like one of the closest friends in my life, and this is what I want you to know, that this is the value of my life, this is what I cared about. I want you guys to celebrate these things, and then I could start telling jokes, and I could say, you remember when we did this, and you remember when we did that, and you could be the main speaker, you could talk about the things that you're most passionate about, you could praise the people that you most love, you could truly tell people what you wanted them to know, and I'm telling you, you have the most captive audience, you have the most captive audience, you have probably one of the most viewed videos, you will be a better person by doing this. Like if you do an annual obituary video, you will be a better person, because you're literally sharing the things that are most precious to you.
One of the questions I ask on my podcast is, if this was your last day on earth, and you were with the people that you loved the most, what would you share with them? I can't tell you how many people break down crying when I ask that. It's because it's a touching question. It's a touching question, and it changes you just by answering that question, it makes you more intentional, but if you can be the person that actually makes videos, thinking with the end in mind, and makes videos for your funeral, the impact, the ripple effect that that's going to have, and the encouragement that that's going to have on other people, is going to be unbelievable.
I just want that for every single person. I know this is a random video, I would love to hear your thoughts on, do you think I'm crazy? I think it has everything to do with your life and money and legacy and intentional living. I can't think of a more leveraged activity, better activity that you can do once a year, and make a video that's talking about, and be the main speaker at your funeral. It humanizes us and knowing that one of these days we will all be dead. We will all be dead. And it's allowing us and it's reminding us to think about death, but also allowing us to say, okay, what is going to be like my last word? What is going to be like at the time that people are the most vulnerable, but the most attention's on what are you going to say?
And I'm saying this selfishly too, because I would love for all my loved ones to do this. I would, I mean, just think about keeping legacy in the family tree. It's like, what do you stand for? What are the things that are most important? What do you want your kids to know? What do you want your future grandchildren or grandchildren and grandchildren to know about you and what you stand for?
